From the perspective of a tourist who only speaks English, everything went very well. The information on the bus is only in Russian, but if you follow what others are doing, you'll be fine. The bus had already seen a lot of kilometers, but was in good condition. (The customs operations in both Lithuania and Belarus were traditional - they didn't even try to be efficient. It's not the fault of the people working there, they did their job kindly.)

The transfer worked fine. The driver was helpful and also gave us the relevant information for the border crossing.
The Wifi did not work on the Lituanian side.
