Additional information: Minors (under 18 years of age) may travel abroad, including to the Russian Federation, only with a passport. Effective January 20, 2026, when crossing the Russian border into Belarus, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and South Ossetia (and from these countries into the Russian Federation), children under 14 who are Russian citizens must have a passport issued in their name.
